Swinging Screens

The owners of this vintage Lakeshore Drive condo had earlier restored all the original metal outswing casement windows in their unit. They were looking for a way to allow them to add insect screens on the interior, but still needed to access the casement mechanism to open and close the window. They also wanted to maintain a vintage look, and wanted to completely remove the screens in Winter to give them full access to their views of Lincoln Park, and the lake.

We designed and built a solution to meet all criteria.
