Upgrading Evanston

This traditional four square home in Evanston retained the original windows on first floor.  When we arrived, they were covered by white aluminum triple-track storm windows.  The owner wanted these replaced with wood storm/screen units painted to match the house.  We installed 11 of our cypress storm/screen units containing low-e glass.

Sometimes people are concerned that storm windows will change the exterior appearance.  However in the first photo below, two of the three windows have the storms installed, while on the center window, the storm/screen unit is still off.  Note how little change there is, and how the wood units are nearly invisible.
